Note: the band's name is not ALPHONE STEIN nor ALPHONSTEIN. They used the § symbol as a “SS” sound, as evidenced by their demotape's unfortunate product code “ASS-001.”
Also note: the band's demotape refers to their guitarist as REN and 繭; as far as I know, that kanji can only be romanized as Mayu. Not sure what that's about.
By some point in early 2002, ALPHON§TEIN disbands
ALPHON§TEIN was a visual kei band. They were part of the kote kei subgenre. They were active from 2001 to 2002 and are now disbanded.
