ZEPPET STORE joins Under Flower RECORDS.
ZEPPET STORE release their first album “Swing, Slide, Sandpit”, which is pulled by Under Flower soon after its 1,000 copy pressing due to horrendous sales.
On the verge of disbanding, hide discovers their album, and, very impressed, sign ZEPPET STORE to his own label LEMONed, making ZEPPET STORE the first non-visual group hide discovered.
hide fly ZEPPET STORE overseas to record their second album “716”, which is later released in May of 1996 exclusively in the US.
Guitarist 五味誠 leaves, and is soon replaced by 赤羽根謙二.

hide passes away, which puts ZEPPET STORE's future in jeopardy. They decide to stay with LEMONed, and begin having their first taste of mainstream success at around this point.
ZEPPET STORE joins Unlimited Records, thus becoming an official major band for the first time in their lifespan as a band.
ZEPPET STORE release their fifth album “CLUTCH”, which reaches number 8 on the Oricon charts, and stays in the charts for 5 weeks. It becomes their best-selling release to date.
ZEPPET STORE is dropped from Unlimited Records.
