Guitarist Sheena secedes. Former guitarist Necro begins as support guitarist, but only one live with this lineup is held, and the band pauses activity.

JELSOMENA pauses activity
Several [somewhat confusing] changes occur during the year:
A short time later, EX-NIHILO changes its name to JELSOMENA (ジェルソミーナ), essentially merging the two bands and restarting activity.
(Confusingly, the band's demotape titled EX-NIHILO was released after changing/merging back to JELSOMENA.)
Later still, keyboardist Kaama secedes.
Then, Seirou (聖蝋) replaces him as support keyboardist and second vocalist. Ranze begins supporting the band around the same time (position unknown).
Finally, guitarist Mai secedes, and the band unofficially ends activities, again.
JELSOMENA unofficially disbands
One-day revival is held with Uni as support guitarist.
JELSOMENA holds limited revival.
